Our nation’s premier ice fishing tournament circuit has changed. Replacing the old Trap Attack series the North American Ice Fishing Championship (NAIFC) Tournament Series is taking competitive ice fishing to the next level. The NAIFC Tournament Series will conduct 4 qualifying tournaments across the ice belt this season, with 8 tournaments planned for 2009.
Dates and locations for this year’s qualifying tournament are:
* February 3rd, Channel Lake, Antioch IL.
* February 17th, Upper Turtle Lake, Turtle Lake WI.,
* February 24th, Silver Lake, NY
* March 9th, Chisago Lake, Chisago, MN.

The 2-person-team qualifying tournaments are open to the first 150 teams to sign-up; with the top 15 teams of each tournament qualify for the North American Ice Fishing Championship (NAIFC) to be held in December.
